About Richmond Addiction Services

HISTORY: Since 1975 Richmond Addiction Services (formerly RADAT) has been providing a wide range of services to residents of Richmond. We are a registered non-profit, charitable society governed by a Board of Directors elected by members of the Society.

FUNDERS: RASS is funded annually by Vancouver Coastal Health – Richmond Health Services and the City of Richmond. We received one time grants from the BC Gaming Grant, Civil Forfeiture Program, Richmond Youth Foundation, and Community Action Initiative for other special programs and prevention initiatives in 2012. STAFF: Our qualified and experienced Counsellors provide confidential individual and group counselling. The therapeutic and clinical work of our staff is guided and supervised by our Executive Director. We support acupuncture and alternative therapies in recovery from drug and alcohol use, tobacco withdrawal, craving and distress of any kind.
