HISTORY: Since 1975 Richmond Addiction Services (formerly RADAT) has been providing a wide range of services to residents of Richmond. We are a registered non-profit, charitable society governed by a Board of Directors elected by members of the Society.

MISSION: The mission of Richmond Addiction Services is to “We are dedicated to providing expertise in preventing and treating addictions in our community”. We respect the integrity of each human being and believe that each person has the ability to change and accept personal responsibility for his/her physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual and social health. We approach addiction through a harm reduction model that recognizes and incorporates abstinence.

FUNDERS: RASS is funded by Vancouver Coastal Health – Richmond Health Services, by  the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, and by the City of Richmond. STAFF: Our qualified and experienced Counsellors provide confidential individual and group counselling. The therapeutic and clinical work of our staff is guided and supervised by our Executive Director.  We support acupuncture and alternative therapies in recovery from drug and alcohol use, tobacco withdrawal, craving and distress of any kind.
